Strategic directions of development of the regional banking system of Russia

This paper examines the role of the regional segment of the banking system and its impact on expanding the availability of banking services for the population and organizations in the regions of the Russian Federation. The development of the regional sector of the banking system plays a huge role in the stable functioning of the region's economy. The stability of the banking system is an integral element of the social and economic development of any region and the state as a whole. As a result, there is a need for a reliable system of rating evaluation and monitoring of the banking system of the region, as well as a set of measures for its maintenance and development.
