The social construction of internet: strategies of use and significance of information

This paper makes a reflection about the estrategies of the uses of information developed by the internet users on a daily basis. For such objective it is asumed that the internet, as a technological development in the result of a process of social construction, and the users make use of specific estrategies that enable them to deploy themselves and to move in the network. The daily interaction of the users with the internet creates a link that makes both of them to influence each other; to be, to get connected or to browse the internet has become an act full of meaning for both users and technology itself. Here it is analyzed what users do there and the ways they do it; a reflection is made about the particularities in which information is used and how it is that this process creates and provides meaning to the network.
