POTENSI SITU BEKAS GALIAN PASIR UNTUK USAHA PERIKANAN SISTEM CULTURE BASED FISHERIES (CBF) DAN KERAMBA JARING APUNG (KJA)

USE OF SANDPIT LAKE FOR FISHERIES OF CULTURE BASED FISHERIES (CBF) AND FLOATINGS CASED. Sandpit lake is aquatic ecosystem that received less attention, but actually it has great potential to be developed as aquaculture site, either by CBF system and floating cage (KJA). Sandpit lake No. 6 is one of the sandpit in Kahuripan village, Sukabumi. The purpose of this study was to assess the carrying capacity of sandpit lake No. 6 for tilapia aquaculture using CBF system and KJA by phosphate load (P) approach. The results of water quality analysis during April-June 2015 showed that sandpit lake No. 6 belongs to eutrophic waters with the carrying capacity of 1.18 tons/year for CBF system and 11.12 tons/year for KJA system. Fish stocked in three phase with stocking density of 3,945 fishes/phase obtained harvest size of 125 grams/fish.
