Abstract
Nowadays, the study level of scientific heritage of one of founders of the Soviet Esthetics of Arshak Abgarovich Adamyan (1884 - 1956) does not correspond to scales of this outstanding scientist identity. The article presents the A. Adamyan'sposition on the question of orientalism essence and evaluation the creativity of the c lassic Armenian music of A. Spendiarov.
