Abstract
Embedded Z Source Inverter (EZSI) is a good choice between PV and three phase load since PV system can be easily split into two parts. This work proposes PV based EZSI for three phase induction motor with Hysteresis Controlled (HC) & Fuzzy Logic Controlled(FLC) controlled closed loop systems. HC and FL controlled systems are designed and simulated using MATLAB. The principles of operation and simulation results are discussed. The simulation results of HC & FL controlled systems are compared in terms of time domain parameters and comparison table has been presented. The results indicate that the response with FLC is faster than that of HC controlled EZSI fed Induction Motor (EZSIIM) systems.
