Abstract
The article describes the course and results of the study of career planning strategies for specialists in the social sphere. The theoretical basis is A. Bandura's social and cognitive theory about the role of personal cognitive and emotional activity of the subject, as well as the position of design thinking as a model of sustaina- ble characteristics of human intellectual activity in planning life prospects and solving the problem. Employees are aware of their self-efficacy in the career planning process. The image of the future is an important condition for successful career planning. The study involved 50 people. In the course of the empirical study, various design strategies were identified in a group of people with different personal characteristics
