Educational intervention in doctors and Microbiology graduates about improving microbiological diagnosis of Gardnerella vaginalis

Abstract
A study of educational intervention was made to medical personnel and graduates in microbiology at Children's Hospital "Pedro Agustín Pérez" in Guantanamo with the aim of improving the microbiological diagnosis of Gardnerella vaginalis, in the period November 2014. The universe was constituted 20 workers. the variables were analyzed: Professional category and level of knowledge .Primary data were obtained through the survey, where it was found that most respondents by professional category was for the graduates and most of them in the same category know about the microbiological characteristics and essential elements for diagnosis microbiological testing of Gardnerella vaginalis. It is designed and a graduate course is taught to potentiate knowledge about the subject.
