Abstract
An experimental analytical study was conducted to determine the effectiveness of treatment with bleeding as antihypertensive therapy in a doctor's office "4 de Abril" from January to December 2013. 67 diagnosed hypertensive patients was our universe, which were distributed in two groups, one study and control groups with 34 and 33 members respectively. Data through clinical records were obtained individual patient interview and physical examination, emptying a data collection form. Variables used: age groups, gender, response time to bleeding, decreased blood pressure, therapeutic response. It predominance of males with the age group 30-39 years, there was better response time to 10 minutes indent applied and experienced blood pressure decrease was more remarkable when applied to the conventional treatment with captopril supply.
