Abstract
The symbolic function, like the mental representations are concepts that are usually used a lot within the context of the evaluation and rehabilitation of the language, nevertheless, we think that they are really great strangers. Studying their elements, interacting among them, their contributions to language configuration, and exploring
their possibilities in language acquisition and development will be the goal of this work.
