Abstract

He study behind a reflection on the core of Popular Education Paulo Freire and his contributions to the training of teaching academic university in the state of Para, Brazil. The methodology used was the qualitative approach with descriptive subject to members belonging to the research group, using semi open questionnaire on the educational practices developed at the University as the formation of these students. The analysis was based on the interpretative paradigm, on the importance of coordination between the theory to the practice. Therefore, it was realized the need for a higher dialectical process that mobilize for reflection-action education do educational guidelines Freireanas highlight the dialogical education in academic education, with adaptations that meet reality as curriculum Matrix Education Course (B.Sc.) of the Pará State University (UEPA)
