Abstract
This study behind the result of educational activities for the teaching of science and mathematics carried out in the State Mother Bonifácia park in the city of Cuiabá, activities that in no formal discipline Fundamentals, Pedagogical Trends Methodological for the Teaching of Science and Mathematics program Graduate Education in Science and Mathematics (REAMEC), polo (UFMT). It sought through observations, investigate the available resources and exploit its potential to serve as themes for content related approaches to the teaching of science and mathematics. The park has proved to be a very rich environment that allows in the natural sciences, addressing issues related to mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, history, geography and others. So it is characterized in non-formal learning space tipping the classroom barriers, allowing the individual's interaction with the site, taking learning in a constructivist perspective of appropriation of scientific knowledge.
