The teaching of history during the military dictatorships in Paraguay

Abstract
The present article approaches the teaching of Paraguayan history during the military Dictatorships, specifically under the government of Higinio Morínigo (1940-1948) and Alfredo Stroessner (1954-1989). For a better understanding of the subject, this work starts with brief outlines administrative political and educational of the different periods, from colonial times until 1940 and explains how during this process the study of such science, through school textbooks was transform until becoming a simple pile of catalogs of political events, government acts and register of heroes, wars and battles, with the intention of shaping “good citizens patriots and nationalistic”
