Abstract
The work sought to analyze the continued formation of the National Pact by the Right Age PNAIC, which aims to improve basic education in the literacy process. In this way, the efficiency of the continuous training for improvement of the pedagogical practice, the realized formations and the indices of development of the basic education IDEB was verified. The methodology used had a qualitative character of the descriptive type, which collected data based on the field research, through documentary analysis and the technique of direct observation in the school of the state school system, in the first half of the year 2016. The results showed that the continued formation of the PNAIC contributed to the improvement of teaching in the literacy process. In addition, the literacy teachers acquired new knowledge and experiences for the pedagogical practice in the training course, thus increasing the indices of development of basic education.
