Abstract
With the view of reducing number of mechanical devices and in order to make processing more efficient, a significant research is being carried out in the domain of Image Processing. In addition to it one of the fastest growing field in this domain is Gesture Recognition. Implementing the concept of gesture recognition in machine makes the communication more natural and intuitive. In this paper, an HMI based system is developed using Raspberry Pi. The real time processing of hand gesture is executed and accordingly signals are generated which are further used to control the electrical machine.
