Abstract

The article examines the results of studying coal waste coal from Tugnui coal - coal cakes and mineral constituents. Analysis of microscopy of the cake surface, analyzes of the organomineral composition of the substance with subsequent petrochemical recalculation to yield the average mass composition of the carbon component, oxide forms and moisture both before and after electroplasma activation are given. A complex of studies was carried out to determine the granulometric composition, indicating the prevailing fractions with the study of their ash content, material composition, bulk density, dispersity and specific surface area. With the help of X-ray phase analysis, data were obtained on the composition of the minerals in the cake. Based on the data of an ultrahigh-temperature thermal imager, a thermoactivation zone in the chamber of an electroplasma reactor was studied, followed by mapping and 3D modeling of temperature fields with the construction of a thermograde, and also visualization of the capture of the processed cake by the plasma and its rotation under the influence of the magnetic field of the coil. A set of sorption tests based on the methods of the State Standard (porosity, specific surface, clarifying capacity, sorption capacity, purification level) of carbon sorbents obtained from coal cake by electroplasma activation is presented.
