TEACHING ENGLISH GRAMMAR TO ENGINEERING STUDENTS AND IMPROVING ITS EFFICIENCY IN THE CONTEXT OF THE EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM IN TYUMEN INDUSTRIAL UNIVERSITY

In the process of studying a foreign language in a higher school, ignorance of the basic grammatical phenomena characteristic of professional speech, the inability to understand the structure of the sentence leads to inability to translate technical texts, as well as the inability to communicate in professional activity. In this article the authors suggested ways to improve the efficiency of grammar teaching in higher education without dramatic changes in the concept of the classical approach, namely the system of grammatical exercises. This approach is applied in Tyumen Industrial University during foreign language lessons, served as the basis for the development of educational material and showed its effectiveness.
