Abstract
Antenatal fetal death occupies a significant place in the structure of perinatal mortality in Uzbekistan (38.6%). One way to reduce this indicator should be to optimize the management of pregnant women at the outpatient level. In the conditions of antenatal clinic in the early stages of pregnancy, it is necessary to conduct screening examinations to form a high-risk group: ultrasound screening at 11-14 and 22-24 weeks of gestation, biochemical screening PAPP-A, β-hCG at 10-13 weeks, AFP, β-hCG in 16-20 weeks of pregnancy. A significant contribution to the improvement of perinatal outcomes is made by rational nutrition of pregnant women, prevention of anemia, the frequency of which, according to the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan is 55%. Iron is a highly effective and acceptable means for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency anemia during pregnancy, childbirth and especially in the postpartum period in women of reproductive age with a risk of bleeding, as well as in gynecological patients with abnormal uterine bleeding in the anamnesis.
