Abstract
This paper is devoted to the structuring the concept COLD in the artistic world image of the famous American writer Jack London on the example of stories from the series “Northern Stories”. The material of the study is presented by 7 stories from the series "Northern Stories" by Jack London. Texts are selected by continu- ous sampling. The analysis of the concept COLD in the English language world image involved data from ex- planatory, etymological, phraseological and other dictionaries. The language structure for constructing the con- cept COLD is modeled according to the following form: core, nuclear, near and far peripheries
