Abstract
The paper considers various systems of heat and exhaust gas energy conversion into electric power based on turbogenerators. It covers the areas of research aimed at increasing the efficiency of power plants in general and reducing the consumption of hydrocarbon fuels in particular. This paper describes modern technical solutions of recovery systems based on turbogenerators, electric turbochargers, the Rankine cycle, and turbogenerators power installations. Finally, a comparison of the characteristics of the recovery systems is given along with the prospects of their usage in future technical solutions.
