Abstract
Modern preschool institutions require the use and implementation of the philosophical and educational heritage of H. Skovoroda in their work, which correspond to general civilizational development trends and are increasingly established in Ukraine: providing an atmosphere of kindness, cooperation and trust of children and adults, creation of conditions for personal development of each child and providing pupils with the opportunity to choose their actions and responsibility for their choice, encouraging them to try self-knowledge and self-absorption. The ideas of humanism that permeate the entire philosophical and educational system of H. Skovoroda are retroinnovations, which modern preschool education requires.
