The formation process of skills of professional foreign language communication of maritime higher educational establishments' students at the bachelor level will gain positive dynamics when the singled out basic pedagogical conditions will be realised. The first is stimulation of students' valuable attitude towards the formation of skills of competent foreign language professional communication. The second is activization of dialogical forms of educational and professional activity as a resource for the formation of skills of competent professional foreign communication. The third is taking into account the requirements of international standards. The fourth is practical-oriented training through immersion of cadets in educational professionally oriented situations in accordance with the stages of training.
