PECULIARITIES OF PERSONALITY-ORIENTED TRAINING OF STUDENTS IN A HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

The sources, directions and peculiarities of personality-oriented approach to students' training in higher educational institutions are defined. Analysis of multi-level, individual, differentiated, subjective-personality approaches in modern education of Ukraine was carried out. Advantages and disadvantages of educational technologies and peculiarities of organization of future specialists training in the context of modern educational challenges are revealed. Educational process on the basis of a personally-oriented approach should take place taking into account individual psychological peculiarities of students; their independence in the choice of forms, methods and means of learning; self-control; self-assessment of their activities results.
