FORMING OF ABRASIVE ON THE BASIS OF COPPER-TITANIUM-DIAMOND

Abstract
On the basis of classical concepts about volumetrical changes of powdered substances in solid phase sintering, it was investigated a possibility of abrasive forming in scheme copper-titanium-diamond. Powdered substances, obtained by the method of powder metallurgy, didn’t change their forms and sizes, therefore simplified further treatment. The best results were obtained by the patterns, which contained metallic bands and diamond dust in equal parts.
