ESSENCE AND FORMS OF PARLIAMENTARY CONTROL IN THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Subject: subject of study makes up the theoretical and constitutional and legal basis for the realization of parliamentary control in Russia, its system and modalities. Purpose: The purpose of this work is to study current issues the parliamentary control in the Russian Federation, the forms of its implementation, and make suggestions for improving the system of national parliamentary control. Research Methodology: a methodological framework comprised of general and private scientific methods, in particular the method of comparative legal and regulatory logical method, and other methods of scientific research. Results: The author formulated parliamentary control concept, highlighted the essential features, considered some of its forms, reflected problematic aspects the parliamentary control and proposals to amend the current legislation. Results: The results, presented by the author in this article may be used in scientific, educational activities in the study of parliamentary control in the Russian Federation Scientific novelty: scientific novelty is due to the systematization of relevant scientific ideas about the institution of parliamentary control in the Russian Federation, author’s approach to the definition of the term “parliamentary control”, identification of significant problematic issues in the implementation of parliamentary control in Russia, as well as the elaboration of proposals for its improvement.
