Abstract

Purpose. Study of methods for assessing the innovation potential of graduates, new forms of learning in the city of Ekaterinburg and the city of Innsbruck. Methods. Analyzed legal sources of Russia and Austria, completed questionnaires within research, a qualitative study of Russian and Austrian experts. Identified problem areas in the educational process. Results. This article was prepared on the basis of research work “Methods of estimation of innovative potential of students graduating classes in high school,” the winner of the research projects, organized by the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration of branches in 2013. In preparing the article also take into account experience in the implementation of the Ural Institute - branch of RANEPA federal program “Management Training in the field of education.” Scientific novelty. Scientific novelty lies in the development of methodology for assessing the innovation potential graduates of the Russian and Austrian schools, revealed similarities in the portraits of the graduates of the two countries and “best practices” to work with students in the Russian and Austrian gymnasiums. Authors make recommendations for Russian schools in the preparation of individual development plans.
