Abstract
In the present study, alcoholic and aqueous extracts of the leaves of Urena lobata were investigated for their anthelmintic activity against Tubifex tubifex, Ecinia foeitida and Pheretima posthuma. The parameters analysed include time of paralysis and time of death of parasites. The alcoholic extract of the leaves of the plant showed significant activity when compared with the aqueous extract of the same plant.
