SEMANTIC WORD-FORMATION OF ZOOTROPES

The article is devoted to defining the types of motivational statement of zootropes which are the secondary name units of a person which developed on the basis of metaphorical and metonymical transfer of names of animals, birds, fishes, insects. At the explicitly expressed semantic link of motivating and derivative words the semes of the first are included into the structure of derivative meaning. The implicitly expressed link is associative. The corpus of zootropes is added to new units by means of a semantic word-formation.
