Sales Manager must be «in the field»

Abstract

At present, in most large Russian organizations, an employee of the sales department engaged in sales is called a sales manager. In addition to sales, his responsibilities include monitoring the shipment of goods or the quality of the services provided. In our opinion, this approach is erroneous, the sales manager should sell, attract new customers, and not devote his time to operations. This article proposes a solution to this problem by hiring an assistant sales manager in staff.
