Comparative analysis of methods and results of the evaluation of the travel and tourism industry by international institutions

The article presents a comparative analysis of the methods and results of tourism evaluation by international institutions: the World Economic Forum and World Tourism Organization defined the factors hindering the development of tourism in the Russian Federation. The solutions of the tasks set in the article became possible due to the application of general scientific and special research methods.
