Abstract
The article deals with the development of a strategy for the spatial development of the Donetsk People’s Republic in terms of changing the contours and potential of the territorial system; reveals the threats and opportunities for spatial development; develops the strategy of spatial development, allowing to create a multifunctional and self-sustaining territorial system.
