Abstract
Ocular rhinosporidiosis is a chronic and localized granulomatous inflammation that can affect the conjunctiva, lacrimal sac, sclera and the eye lids. We report two patients with conjunctival rhinosporidiosis diagnosed and managed in our department. Conjunctival rhinosporidiosis clinically appears as a pink, richly vascularised, friable, polypoid growth with pedunculated or sessile finger like extensions. Diagnosis is based mainly on strong clinical suspicion and can be confirmed by excision biopsy. Surgical excision is the treatment of choice and recurrence is rare.
