Abstract
Thrombocytopenia in pregnancy has many causes including gestational thrombocytopenia, viral , bacterial infections, preeclampsia complicated by hemolysis and HELLP syndrome. The great concern for idiopathic thrombocytopenia is for its complications and neonatal thrombocytopenia. 20yrs lady presented to us with complaints of purpuric lesions , profuse vaginal bleeding, and gum bleeding on her 20th postnatal day. She developed thrombosis on 26th postnatal day and was treated with steroids and Heparin.
