Development and strengthening of local government (on the example of reforming the budgets of administrative divisions)

The article discusses the problems of planning and forecasting local budgets, of the effective use of budgetary funds. The main directions of developing and strengthening the local government have been defined on the example of reforming the budgets of administrative divisions. An objective need has been formulated for developing a forecast of medium-term indicators of localbudgets. The main tasks for strengthening the financial independence of local budgets and improving the system of regulatingmeasures for the development and strengthening of the financial and economic foundations of local government at the level of administrative divisions has been proposed.
