Abstract
A mechanical fan is a powered machine used to create flow within a fluid, typically a gas such as air. A fan consists of a rotating arrangement of vanes or blades which act on the air. The rotating assembly of blades and hub is known as an impeller, a rotor, or a runner. Usually, it is contained within some form of housing or case. In this thesis the composite fan blade is modelled using CREO design software. Thermal analysis done on composite fan blade by using composite materials. And also static, modal and dynamic analysis to determining the stress, strain and deformation values by using composite materials. In this paper the CFD analysis is done to determine the heat transfer coefficient, heat transfer rate, mass flow rate, pressure drop and thermal analysis to determine the temperature distribution, heat flux with different materials.3D modelling is done in CREO and analysis is done in ANSYS.
