Concept of product project and limitations

Analysis of the existing definitions of the concepts of the project and their classifications allowed us to identify the disagreements among the authors on this issue. It was emphasized that all existing projects are innovative, but among them there are such projects, the products of which are the objects of technology. It is proposed to allocate these projects into product projects, a separate group. The products of such projects are the results of the creative activities of developers and can be protected as objects of intellectual property rights. A classification of product projects on five grounds has been proposed. Allocation of product projects and their classification allows taking managerial decisions more correctly.
