Abstract
The Mongols inherited the steppe. They were the inheritor of nomadic empires founded by the Huns, Gokturk and Uyghurs. It is no coincidence that Genghis Khan chose the Otuken of Huns and Gokturks as the center of the empire. The Mongols in the 13th century ensured the unity of the steppe tribes. Half a century has passed since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkey and Mongolia under an agreement signed in 1969. Relations between the two brother countries since the 90s, based on historical traditions are gaining strength. Also between these countries embassies are open.
