Abstract
For the purposes of obtaining the master's degree in journalism, this study deals with the transformation of mass communication processes at the informational level. The result of the study is the conceptualization of knowledge on actual and trend processes of changing the principles of mass communication – the digitalisation of communication tools, media convergence, mass media dematerialization, globalization of the mass communication system, definition of their interaction and development tendency. A large number of scientific sources was analyzed in the research process, a large proportion of which are the primary sources that contain theoretical foundations of the mentioned processes; illustration of each process with clear examples is also the principled position of the authors. The study of fundamental editions in the original language, alongside with the elaboration of the scientific literature of Ukrainian authors and a comprehensive approach to the research, made it possible to bring the results of this study closer to the source of the new knowledge.
