Abstract
The article deals with the question of the international legal personality of an individual. The views of different scholars on this issue are analyzed. The main arguments on which specialists are based, proving the possibility or impossibility of recognizing a individual as a subject of international law. The author notes that the solution of this problem is important, because at the stage of the formation of a humane, civilized society, a person must be a key figure and have the right to recognize his legal personality. Person - is the beginning of any relationship, and that human rights and freedoms form the basis not only of civil society, but also the basis of modern civilization, it can be argued that in the future individual will finally consolidate his place among the subjects of international law, because the individual can not stay out of the right.
