Abstract
Cholecystoduodenal fistula, usually a late complication of calculous disease of the gallbladder, constitutes approximately 75 per cent of all internal biliary fistulas. The development of a fistula and the associated complications increase the risk of surgical management of benign cholecystic disease. We report a case of chronic calculous cholecystitis that had no preoperative diagnosis of cholecystoduodenal fistula but was found during Truncal Vagotomy and Gastro Jejunostomy and cholecystectomy, which was managed successfully.
