Abstract

The On Board Spare (OBS) requirements Planning process is needed to support Indonesian Warship (KRI) readiness in order to support the implementation of operational tasks. Based on the experience of researchers during their tenure at the KRI over the past 10 years, there are often delays in the process of fulfilling the On Board Spare (OBS) either before or during KRI carrying out operational tasks at sea. To ensure the continuity of OBS support on time, a timely and timely Planning of needs is needed. Based on the problems mentioned above, the researchers tried to apply Supply Chain Management (SCM) Theory to the OBS Planning system which is expected to be able to provide a significant solution in an effort to meet the needs of integrated OBS support from supply support units to distribution to KRI. Data collection for independent variables and bound by questionnaire / questionnaire using the Likert scale method. The research instrument consisted of independent variables (On Board Spare (X) Planning, and the dependent variable Operational Readiness of KRI (Y)). Testing requirements analysis using SPSS 25 software. The results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship either partially or simultaneously between the independent and dependent variables
