Abstract
This article presents results and contributions of a qualitative research conducted on knowledge management based on lessons learned in public project management from the infrastructure sector. A lesson learned model (LLMIP) is proposed, built from context elements. Furthermore, how to implement and sustain the model is proposed. Inhibitors, facilitators, techniques and tools defining both design and successful management are identified.
