Abstract
The synovial chondromatosis is the epulis disease, being defined by a metaplasia of synovial sheath of joint and formation of infra-articular and/or extra-articular chondral, less bone bodies. Aetiologyis unknown. The large joints are usually invaded; the temporomandibular joint is extremely rare. The case report of synovial chondromatosis of temporomandibular joint, diagnosed for the first time in 22-years of diagnostics and treatment of patients with abnormality of this joint is described.
