Abstract
This article discusses the issue of chronic microtrauma as a prerequisite for long-term disorders of the athlete’s musculoskeletal system. The problem is that microtrauma is not given enough attention, although this is a very important point in the training process. Having examined the mechanism of microtraumas, we came to the conclusion that these are the prerequisites for injuries, which are just as serious, which in the future can cause great damage. Therefore, we believe that it is necessary to study this problem more deeply and take preventive measures for each chosen sport.
