Mehmet Akif Ersoy’s Qur’an Commentary in Terms Of Sociological Tafsir Approach

The vast majority of studies on the Mehmet Akif, focused on his life, character, literary side, political opinions, is-lamic perspective and on the meaning of the Qur'an, but his views on the understanding and interpretation of the Qur'an -some studies except- is not considered as much depth. Akif, as well as a poet and a strong character but also a poet Qur'an, classical and technical sense if not a scholar and commentator, he learned tafsir, fiqh, hadith and as theology basic Islamic sciences. Espe-cially he is a Qur'an scholar, that have distinguished with knowl-edge of Arabic that the language of the Qur'an, have taken the source of the existence of the Qur'an and Islam, have organized basic codes of his thought as a focus on the Qur'an, have seen the development and unification of Muslims in the correct un-derstanding of the Qur'an, and have tried to interpretation some verses of the Qur'an in this direction. In addition to this, Mehmet Akif is that defending one of the pioneers of the idea that based on the Qur'an the idea of breeding and renewal. Therefore, his understanding and interpretation of the Qur'an bears little differ-ence from the classical exegetical tradition in this respect. Hence, know the points highlighted of Mehmet Akif's interpretation of the Qur'an, in a sense, is to know contemporary tafsir's which based on points. In other words, it will give some tips on the way to knowing some basic code is based on a modern interpretation of mind. In this article, Mehmet Akif Ersoy's various tafsir writ-ings, tafsir translations, sermons, poems and articles of move-ment, we will investigate the issue of how to follow a method to interpretation of the Qur'an and on the some concrete examples we will explore to Mehmet Akif's role and position of the school of sociological tafsir approach.
