An Overview to The Education System During The Ottoman-period in Cyprus

In this study, the education system in Cyprus during the Otto-man Period and the formal education institutions as the part of elementary schools, madrasas and outside of these, as being ac-tive as formal education institutions; mosques , dervish lodges, and libraries is tried to be addressed from different points of view (angles). Topics identified in this study, has been kept specific evaluation in terms of culture within in the historical process to determine what kinds of changes that occur and also the scope and limitations of the study has been one of the topics.
