Abstract
Isfahani, who opined significantly on moral is one of the most important scholars raised in the Islamic world. According to him, everyone has free will. So it is up to somebody's choice to be ethi-cal or not, but what really matters is choosing to be ethical. With a choice in this direction, a man may achieve happiness in this life and afterlife. In other words, a man may find beatitudes in this life and afterlife by purifying his/her soul/nafs. A man may find wisdom, courage, justice and virtue by setting his/her heart on purifying his/her soul.
