Allah had bestowed humanity with the talent of distinguishing good from evil and good from bad. therefore human beings are gifted with the characteristic of embracing and comprehending religion and having morality that no any other creature has grasped.one of the actions that has been defined and condemned by Allah as the bad action from the first day of creation is adultery. therefore adultery in Islam has been precisely tackled, and very powerful and preventive measurements have been brought. Islam considers any kind of sexual affair whether between marrieds or between singles, -thus without any distinction- in the absence of marriage contract between the two, as illegitimate and unlawful. other than this, while it is seen strong prohibition of any kind of homosexuality, which is disgusting and contrary to the human nature, and sexual affair with the deaths, animals, prohibition of lesbianism and masturbation (müsahaka and istimna); meeting the sexual needs as natural and legitimately, protection of creation and chastity, staying away from any kind of sexual astray and heresy are the main the main messages of the Qur'an. Because according to Islam, adultery is a crime against humanity, and a calamity that targets to destroy family and society.With the phrases such as adultery of the eyes and adultery of the tongue, the sayings of the prophet Muhammad (PBuH) express the high possibility of the process that results with adultery as a result of looking at haram and of sexual contented communications, and he with these sayings aims to protect the believers.In addition to its punishment in fiqh as a result of the occurrence of committing adultery, thanks to precautions in preventing any possibility of it, adultery has not posed a widespread morality problem because of its prohibition and its consideration as a sin in Muslim societies during Islamic history.For a long time, in the Western world in which, gender is dealt within the political context, adultery is embraced as a normal relation with the concept of sexual freedom and it is used as pressure tool today, rather than working to prevent adultery, since 1980s, by going adjustments regarding the children borne as a result of this illegal relations and regarding their fathers and mothers, it is seen the states support single parent family formations. For the years of millennium, this support goes for lesbians too.In the studies made, it is expressed that rate of adultery is being widespread and the number of children as a result of it increases each and every year, and people became more insensitive towards immoral acts.During the recent years, single parent family structure, which is observed more as a result of increasing divorces, also has been related with the illicit intercourses cases. It is also observed that ministerial works in turkey supports this kind of family structure.this article will focus on some family adjustments that legalize adultery in the West in the 21st century. While the subject is approached, the creation of the human being as “the noblest of the all creation” (eşrefi mahlûk) and the meaning expressed in surah al-Hadid verse 16will be considered.
