Formation of professional competence of future bachelors of design in the process of study of scientific and graphic disciplines

The article outlines the tasks and ways of solving the problems of graphic arts education in the way of forming the professional competence of future bachelors of design. A thorough analysis of current research and publications on the formation of professional competence in future designers has been carried out. The essence of the concept of "competence" is substantiated through the prism of the state educational standards of higher professional education in relation to the formation of basic professional competences in future design specialists. The technique of forming the professional competence of future bachelors of design in the process of studying the art and graphic disciplines is reviewed.
