Abstract

The purpose of research to develop a simple but effective technology of the educational results of students of a building university forecasting in real-time. This area of research is relevant in the conditions of constantly changing conditions of a dynamically developing society of the 21st century. Predicting a decline in performance or other negative trends when teaching a student of an architectural and construction university is easier than correcting the shortcomings of a graduate: the price of an engineering error is high. We used a dynamic approach to predict the educational results of future civil engineers using real-time visual data analysis technology. We developed an interactive dashboard «Competence Calculator for Civil Engineers» using the Real-Time Data Mining technology in the MS Excel. The results of the work will be useful to curators of academic groups, employees of the academic department and deans, who, having noticed negative trends in the course of training, will be able to identify in advance the reasons for such changes in the student's approach to learning. The level of development of specific competencies will help the student to choose the work that is best suited, in accordance with the level of development of certain skills. Employers will be able to select a young specialist, in accordance with professional standards at the enterprise. In the future we plan to add the entire list of competencies from the state educational standard to the «Competency Calculator».
