Abstract
The website is one of the most used platforms for information sharing. Every citizen has equal rights to get information from government websites. The main objective of this research is to analyze the accessibility, usability and security aspects of the government websites of Bangladesh. The research has been carried out based on WCAG 2.0 (level AA) by using various tools like TAW, WAVE, CCA, Total Validator, CynthiaSays, Keyboard Accessibility, and Readability test. This analysis was based on randomly selected 20 government websites that were found in the National Web Portal of Bangladesh. Results found that all of the government websites of Bangladesh failed to adhere to the minimum requirements of WCAG 2.0 (AA) guidelines. In the end, the researcher suggested some recommendations to increase web accessibility.
